Make a wish, help a canine

In 2002, we placed a Wishing Well by the door to the Clubhouse.  One purpose of the Wishing Well is to bring you and your dog good luck in training, as well as in shows.  Another purpose of the Wishing Well is to give back to the dog world by way of donations.  Our Club has agreed to match dollar for dollar all monies tossed into the Wishing Well and to donate to different canine charities to be picked at a later date.

Rick Burdorf constructed the Wishing Well.  Together, Rick and I landscaped the surrounding area.  However, the site would not be complete without the words of Ralph Main:

As you peek into our Wishing Well,
Its purpose is what we’d like to tell.
We’ll help sick, lost and homeless K-9s,
And those heroic war-dogs left behind.
So now that we have you within our range,
Won’t you empty your pockets of its small change,
Be a blessing for those you now train and love,
And a wonderful remembrance of those up above.
